The most common Namenda side effects observed in clinical trials are dizziness, headache, constipation, and confusion. Once available in pharmacies, Namenda will be administered orally at a recommended dose of 10 mg BID following a four-week titration.
Lundbeck reports a low incidence of Namenda side effects, that are usually mild to moderate in severity. Common Namenda side effects include hallucinations (in 2 per cent of cases), confusion (1.3 per cent), dizziness (1.7 per cent), headaches (1.7 per cent) and tiredness (1 per cent).
